Glow Me Up Community Guidelines

At Glow Me Up, we build a respectful, professional, and safe community for both Customers and Professionals. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

Core Principles

All members of the Glow Me Up community must act in accordance with these principles:

Mutual respect.
Professionalism.
Transparency.
Safety.

Customer Conduct

Customers may:

Post honest reviews after receiving completed services.
Share their experiences respectfully and politely.
Communicate with Professionals through Platform features for purposes related to bookings and beauty services.

Customers may not:

Post fake, retaliatory, misleading, or non-experience-based reviews.
Cancel late or fail to attend an appointment without notice, except as permitted by the applicable cancellation policy.
Insult, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, or harass Professionals, Customers, or other users.
Request services outside the scope agreed with the Professional.
Attempt to make payments outside the Glow Me Up payment system where Platform payment is required.

Prohibited Content and Activity

The following content and conduct are prohibited across Glow Me Up:

Sexual, explicit, violent, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content, including content targeting race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
Personal information about another person without their permission, including contact details, private messages, identification documents, financial information, or photos.
Advertising, unsolicited marketing, spam, scams, or links intended to move users off the Platform.
Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other intellectual-property rights.
Content or conduct related to illegal, fraudulent, exploitative, or harmful activity.
Attempts to manipulate bookings, payments, ratings, reviews, reporting processes, or Platform features.
Inappropriate, unlawful, sexually explicit, misleading, or non-consensual photos uploaded to the AI Hairstyle Preview or any other Platform feature.

Chat & Video Call Rules

Chat and video-call features may only be used for communications reasonably related to beauty services, scheduling, bookings, pricing, availability, and customer support.

You must not use these features to:

Share sexual, abusive, threatening, or harassing content.
Request, pressure, or encourage another user to meet privately outside the app for unrelated purposes.
Share prohibited personal information or solicit financial transactions outside approved Platform payment flows.
Record, distribute, or misuse another user’s image, voice, personal information, or communications without appropriate consent.

Glow Me Up may review communications where a report, complaint, safety concern, or suspected violation is submitted, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience with a completed service or a legitimate booking interaction.

You may not:

Buy, sell, exchange, solicit, or incentivize reviews.
Use fake accounts or ask others to post reviews on your behalf.
Post reviews intended primarily to retaliate, harass, threaten, or damage another person rather than share a genuine experience.
Include private or sensitive information about another person.

Glow Me Up may remove, restrict, or moderate reviews that violate these Community Guidelines, without prior notice where permitted by law.

Enforcement and Reporting

Glow Me Up uses a combination of user reporting and manual moderation to enforce these Community Guidelines.

Depending on the nature, severity, frequency, and context of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

Issue a warning.
Remove or restrict content.
Restrict access to certain Platform features.
Temporarily suspend an account.
Permanently disable an account.
Cancel affected bookings or withhold access to payments where allowed under applicable policies and law.
Report suspected illegal activity to relevant authorities where necessary or legally required.
